HOW TO DEAL WITH LAZINESS AS A MOM

As a mom, you are expected to be a superwoman. You are supposed to do it all and do it all well. So when you’re dealing with your own laziness, it can be tough to admit that you’re not always meeting the high standards you’ve set for yourself. But the truth is, we all have lazy days (or weeks, or months). And that’s okay!

It’s easy to get caught up in the trap of feeling like you can’t do anything right, but it just takes a little self-care. We’ve all been there before and we’ll again—you need your happy!

Here are some tips for dealing with laziness as a mom.

1. Schedule Some “Me” Time

We all need some time to ourselves, even if it’s just 30 minutes to an hour each day. During this time, you can do whatever you want—watch TV, read a book, take a nap, take a bath, etc. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as it’s something that makes you happy and relaxed. Having this time to yourself will help you recharge so that you can be more productive when you need to be.

2. Get Organized

One of the reasons why moms feel so lazy is because they are constantly trying to play catch-up. If you can get ahead of the game by getting organized, you’ll feel less overwhelmed and stressed, and more motivated to get things done. Make a daily or weekly list of things that need to be done, and tackle them one at a time. Don’t try to do everything at once—it’s just not possible (and it’s not healthy).

3. Find Your Motivation

What is it that motivates you? Maybe it’s spending more time with your kids or taking a trip somewhere special. When you know what your motivation is, it will be easier for you to find the energy to get things done.

Laziness is something that everyone struggles with from time to time—even moms. But there are ways to deal with it so that it doesn’t take over your life. By scheduling some “me” time, getting organized, and finding your motivation, you can overcome laziness and be the best mom possible!
